Celebrating lunar new year!

It’s one of this day again celebrating Chinese lunar New year again down here in Singapore.With lion dancing and gluttony for the next few days for the chinese community here.
Weird though it’s more of a village celebration with the lions scaring off the evil spirits in the chinese folklore but now the art spread to most urban cities with chinese populace when celebrating the spring festival.
I’ll be back on next monday but would not expect any heavy eating as I believe it’s bad for one’s health, days of poor villagers scraping for a good meal for the whole family during New Year has become endless dining for fine gourmet which I think defeats the meaning of the family gathering , I don’t mind more red packets though:)
